Power
Power availability is the most critical function of a
Datacenter and key to 100% availability is a redundantly delivered
power supply. Citadel100 designs all
our Datacenter environments with the most resilient power engineering so that no Single Points of Failure exists.
Citadel100 Datacenters incorporate an N + 1 redundant electrical system where dual independent electrical supplies are provided at in excess of 12MVA. External transformers are provided in an N+1 configuration and are directly fed from the primary MV switchboard, with battery backup providing continual power.
The Citadel100 Datacenters are backed up by N+1 diesel driven generators with 24 hours fuel storage.
Citadel100’s innovatively designed power system incorporates the following features:
- N+N redundancy
- Power densities of up to 2kW/m2 Six continuous power supply (CPS) online generator units
- Fuel to support a minimum of 48 hours of runtime at full facility deployment
- Dual utility feeders Static transfer switches (STS) at each PDU
- -48V DC power in N+N configuration
- Dual fed critical load distribution boards
- Full maintenance bypass feeders
